Betting (Exemption) Notification 2010

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the Betting Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Betting (Exemption) Notification 2010.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Singapore Pools (Private) Limited from the provisions of the Act in respect of the public lottery known as “Scratchit!”, in connection with the 2010 Formula One Singapore Grand Prix, to be held from 13th July 2010 to 31st December 2010 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Singapore Pools (Private) Limited with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 13th July 2010.
