Appointment of Authorised Officers

It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 of the Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) Act, the Director of Medical Services has appointed the following officers to be authorised officers, with effect from 1st July 1996, to exercise the powers under sections 11 (2), 22(1) and (3) of the Act:

(a)	all Parks Rangers of the National Parks Board; and
(b)	all Environmental Health Officers attached to the Ministry of the Environment.

2. Notification No. S 112 published in the Subsidiary Legislation Supplement to the Gazette of 22nd March 1996 is cancelled.
