Currency Act
(Chapter 69)
Currency (Amendment) Regulations 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 35 of the Currency Act, the Board of Commissioners of Currency, Singapore, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Currency (Amendment) Regulations 1999 and shall come into operation on 9th September 1999.
Amendment of regulation 3
2.  Regulation 3 of the Currency Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph (3), the following paragraph:
“(4)  The fee payable under paragraph (1) shall be waived for the “Orchid”, “Bird” and “Ship” series of notes first issued from 12th June 1967 to 18th May 1995.”.
