Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Finance) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2003

Variation of Responsibility of Minister for Finance

It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has varied, with effect from 1st August 2003, the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Finance) Notification 2001 (G.N No. S 623/2001) by inserting, immediately after the first paragraph, the following paragraph:

“Responsibility of Second Minister for Finance

1A. It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has directed that Mr Lim Hng Kiang, Second Minister for Finance, shall, with effect from 1st August 2003, be charged, as an alternate to the Minister for Finance, with the responsibility for the departments and subjects set out in the Schedule.”.

2. This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Finance) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2003.
