Appointment of Competent Authority

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Planning Act, the Minister for National Development hereby appoints, with effect from 1st September 1995, the Chief Planner of the Urban Redevelopment Authority established under the Urban Redevelopment Authority Act [Cap. 340] to be the competent authority responsible for the operation of the provisions of the Act and any rules made thereunder, and directs that the Chief Planner shall, in the exercise of his responsibilities, act in consultation with any committee or committees appointed from time to time by the Minister.

2. Notification No. N 3 is cancelled.
