Central Provident Fund (Investment Schemes) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1)(n) of the Central Provident Fund Act, Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister of State, Ministry of Education, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Manpower, after consulting with the Central Provident Fund Board, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Investment Schemes) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2004.
Deletion and substitution of regulation 38
2.  Regulation 38 of the Central Provident Fund (Investment Schemes) Regulations (Rg 9) is deleted and the following regulation substituted therefor:
Withdrawa l under section 15 or 27 of Act
38.  Subject to —
(a)the Act;
(b)the Central Provident Fund (Revised Minimum Sum Scheme) Regulations (Rg 2), the Central Provident Fund (Minimum Sum Scheme) Regulations (Rg 16) or the Central Provident Fund (New Minimum Sum Scheme) Regulations 2004 (G.N. No. S 386/2004), as the case may be; and
(c)the Central Provident Fund (Topping Up of Medisave Account) Regulations 2003 (G.N. No. S 652/2003),
a member who is entitled to withdraw the sum standing to his credit in the Fund under section 15 or 27 of the Act shall be entitled to withdraw all the moneys standing to his credit in his CPF Investment Account and all the securities purchased or acquired under these Regulations.”.
