Housing and Development Act

Housing and Development (Jurong Town Corporation) Order 1996
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50A(1) of the Housing and Development Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Order:
1.  This Order may be cited as the Housing and Development (Jurong Town Corporation) Order 1996 and shall come into operation on 23rd August 1996.
2.  The Jurong Town Corporation, a body corporate established under the Jurong Town Corporation Act [Cap. 150], shall be entitled to purchase any flat, house or other living accommodation sold subject to the provisions of Part IV of the Housing and Development Act; and the provisions of that Part shall apply in relation to the Jurong Town Corporation with the modifications set out in the Schedule.
Made this 21st day of August 1996.
