Architects (Amendment) Rules 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 38 of the Architects Act, the Board of Architects, with the approval of the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Architects (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2000.

Amendment of rule 12

2. Rule 12 of the Architects Rules (R 1) (referred to in these Rules as the principal Rules) is amended by deleting “$150” in the 2nd line and substituting “$200”.

Amendment of rule 17

3. Rule 17 of the principal Rules is amended by deleting “$300” and substituting “$500”.

Amendment of First Schedule

4. Form 6 of the First Schedule to the principal Rules is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$300” in item 9 of Part I and substituting “$500”; and
(b)	by deleting “$300” in item 4 of Part II and substituting “$500”. [G.N. No. S 139/95] []
