Arms and Explosives (Arms) (Amendment) Rules 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(1) of the Arms and Explosives Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

1. These Rules may be cited as the Arms and Explosives (Arms) (Amendment) Rules 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st October 1996.

2. Rule 27(1) of the Arms and Explosives (Arms) Rules is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$13” in sub-paragraph (d) and substituting “$15”;
(b)	by deleting “$13” in sub-paragraph (e) and substituting “$14”;
(c)	by inserting, immediately after the word “thereof” in sub-paragraph (f), the words “or $46 per month or part thereof”;
(d)	by inserting, immediately after the word “thereof” in sub-paragraph (g), the words “or $12.50 per month or part thereof”; and
(e)	by inserting, immediately after the word “thereof” in sub-paragraph (h), the words “or $12.50 per month or part thereof”.
