(Chapter 1)
Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Law) Notification 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Law, with the approval of the President, hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Law) Notification 2008 and shall come into operation on 8th August 2008.
Delegation of powers
2.  The Minister for Law hereby deputes the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Law, to exercise the powers of the Minister under —
(a)rule 4 of the Residential Property (Fees) Rules (Cap. 274, R 2); and
(b)rule 16 of the Patents (Patent Agents) Rules 2001 (G.N. No. S 645/2001).

Made this 7th day of August 2008.
