Notification 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Small Motorised Vehicles (Safety) Act 2020, the Minister for Transport makes the following Notification:
1.  This Notification is the Small Motorised Vehicles (Safety) Act 2020 (Commencement) (No. 2) Notification 2021.
2.  The Small Motorised Vehicles (Safety) Act 2020 comes into operation on 28 June 2021 except —
(a)paragraph (c) of the definition of “personal mobility device” or “PMD” in section 2(1) of the Act;
(b)paragraph (c) of the definition of “power‑assisted bicycle” or “PAB” in section 2(1) of the Act; and
(c)sections 29(c), (d) and (e), 30 and 31 of the Act.
