Misuse of Drugs Act (Amendment of Fourth Schedule) Order 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 59 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs Act (Amendment of Fourth Schedule) Order 2007 and shall come into operation on 1st August 2007.

Amendment of Fourth Schedule

2. The Fourth Schedule to the Misuse of Drugs Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 2A, the following items:

“(2B) Cannabinol

(2C) Cannabinol derivatives as defined in Part IV of the First Schedule

(2D) Cannabis

(2E) Cocaine”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 3, the following item:

“(3A) Ecgonine, and any derivative of ecgonine which is convertible to ecgonine or to cocaine”.
