Environmental Public Health Act
(Chapter 95)
Environmental Public Health (Public Cleansing) (Amendment) Regulations 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 111 of the Environmental Public Health Act, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Public Health (Public Cleansing) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and shall, with the exception of regulations 3(a), (c) and (f), 4, 5 and 6 come into operation on 1st August 2010.
(2)  Regulations 3(a), (c) and (f), 4, 5 and 6 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 10th September 2008.
Amendment of regulation 10
2.  Regulation 10(3) of the Environmental Public Health (Public Cleansing) Regulations (Rg 3) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the words “Ministry of the Environment” and substituting the word “Agency”.
Amendment of Second Schedule
3.  The Second Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended —
(a)by deleting the words “Altvater Jakob Pte. Ltd.” in paragraph 1 and substituting the words “Veolia ES Singapore Pte. Ltd.”;
(b)by deleting sub-paragraphs (1), (2) and (3) of paragraph 1 and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:
 
 
 
(1) Domestic premises provided with —
 
 
(a) direct refuse collection
 
$24.08 per premises
(b) indirect refuse collection
 
$7.35 per premises.
(2) Non-domestic premises where daily quantity of refuse collected and removed —

5.  The Fourth Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “ALTVATER JAKOB PTE. LTD.” in the Schedule heading and substituting the words “Veolia ES Singapore Pte. Ltd.”.
Amendment of Eleventh Schedule
6.  The Eleventh Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “ALTVATER JAKOB PTE. LTD.” in the Schedule heading and substituting the words “Veolia ES Singapore Pte. Ltd.”.
