(Chapter 104)
Factories (Scaffolds) (Amendment) Regulations 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 68 and 77 of the Factories Act, Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister of State, Ministry of Education, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Manpower, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Factories (Scaffolds) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st July 2004.
Amendment of regulation 18
2.  Regulation 18(3) of the Factories (Scaffolds) Regulations 2004 (G.N. No. S 19/2004) is amended by deleting the words “1.1 metres” and substituting the words “one metre”.
