Misuse of Drugs (Approved Institutions) (Discipline) (Amendment) Regulations 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 58 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Approved Institutions) (Discipline) (Amendment) Regulations 2003.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Misuse of Drugs (Approved Institutions) (Discipline) Regulations (Rg 5)is amended by deleting the definition of “medical officer” and substituting the following definition:

“ “medical officer” means a registered medical practitioner who is for the time being appointed by the Director of Prisons to perform the functions of a medical officer under these Regulations;”.
