Banking (Amendment) Act 2020
(Commencement) Notification 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Banking (Amendment) Act 2020, the Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who is charged with the responsibility for the Banking Act (Cap. 19), makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Banking (Amendment) Act 2020 (Commencement) Notification 2021.

2. Sections 2, 3, 5, 11, 13 to 17, 19, 20, 21, 24, 26 to 32, 33(b) and (d), 34 to 43, 44(a), (b) and (d) and 45 to 68 of the Banking (Amendment) Act 2020 come into operation on 1 July 2021.
