(Approved Mortgagees)
(Amendment) Notification 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definition of “approved mortgagee” in section 28(1) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Central Provident Fund (Approved Mortgagees) (Amendment) Notification 2021 and comes into operation on 1 July 2021.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Central Provident Fund (Approved Mortgagees) Notification (N 3) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 1 and substituting the following item:

“1.	Any bank as defined in section 2(1) of the Banking Act (Cap. 19).”; and

(b)

by deleting item 5 and substituting the following item:

“5.	Any merchant bank as defined in section 2(1) of the Banking Act.”.
