(Fees) (Amendment)
Order 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Oaths and Fees) Act 1968, the Minister for Foreign Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Fees) (Amendment) Order 2022 and comes into operation on 29 May 2022.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  In the Schedule to the Diplomatic and Consular Officers (Fees) Order 2012 (G.N. No. S 62/2012), replace item 5 (including the heading) with —
BIRTHS AND DEATHS
5.—(1)Application to alter a child’s name under section 21(2) of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act 2021

(2)Issue of a birth certificate under regulation 10, 12 or 13 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 2022 (G.N. No. S 408/2022)

(3)Application for an extract from a record in a register under regulation 14, 15, 21, 22 or 27 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 2022

(4)Application for a copy of a former record of birth mentioned in regulation 17(2) of the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 2022

(5)Search of records in a register for any period before 1986 (called in this paragraph the search period) under regulation 29(2) of the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 2022
 
$50 for every month or part of the month in the search period
(6)Search of records in a register for any period in or after 1986 (called in this paragraph the search period) under regulation 29(2) of the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 2022
 
$40 for the search period
