(Chapter 7)

Animals and Birds (Disease) (Amendment) Notification 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definition of "disease" in section 2 of the Animals and Birds Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Animals and Birds (Disease) (Amendment) Notification 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2008.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Animals and Birds (Disease) (Notification) (N 2) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 32, the following item:

“32A. Epizootic ulcerative syndrome”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 56, the following item:

“56A. Koi herpesvirus”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 84, the following item:

“84A. Red sea bream iridoviral disease”;

(d)

by inserting, immediately after item 92, the following item:

“92A. Spring viraemia of carp”; and

(e)

by inserting, immediately after item 106, the following item:

“106A. White spot disease”.
