Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes
(Medifund Committees) (Amendment)
Order 2018
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) (Amendment) Order 2018 and comes into operation on 22 January 2018.
Amendment of Part 1 of Schedule
2.  Item 39 of Part 1 of the Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) Order 2015 (G.N. No. S 361/2015) is amended by deleting item (2) in the second column.
Amendment of Part 2 of Schedule
3.  Part 2 of the Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) Order 2015 is amended by inserting, immediately after item 6, the following items:
“
7.St. Luke’s Hospital for the Elderly Medifund Committee
St. Luke’s Eldercare Ltd
All classes of patients who receive treatment at the approved institution before 22 January 2018.
8.St. Luke’s Eldercare Medifund Committee
St. Luke’s Eldercare Ltd
All classes of patients who receive treatment at the approved institution on or after 22 January 2018.
