Street Works (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 52(2) of the Street Works Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Street Works (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2003 and shall come into operation on 3rd September 2003.

Composition of offences

2. The following offences may be compounded by the Authority in accordance with section 52(1) of the Act:

(a)	any offence under section 32A(2) or (4)(a) of the Act; and
(b)	any offence under regulation 32 of the Street Works (Works on Public Streets) Regulations (Rg 2) in connection with any contravention of regulation 4, 13, 14, 15(1)(a), (b), (c) or (d), 16, 17(b), 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 25 or 31 of those Regulations .

Revocation

3. The Street Works (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Rg 4) are revoked.
