(Amendment No. 5) Notification 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security, exercising the functions conferred on the Prime Minister, makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) (Amendment No. 5) Notification 2022 and, except for paragraph 2(b), comes into operation on 31 May 2022.

(2) Paragraph 2(b) comes into operation on 1 August 2022.

Amendment of Tenth Schedule

2. In the Tenth Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2020 (G.N. No. S 723/2020) —

(a)

under the heading “Departments”, replace item 1 with —

“1.	Gambling Regulatory Authority of Singapore (formerly called Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore)”;

(b)

under the heading “Subjects”, in item 5, in paragraph (8), delete sub‑paragraphs (a), (c), (d) and (e); and

(c)

under the heading “Subjects”, in item 5, in paragraph (8), after sub‑paragraph (e), insert —

“(f)	Gambling Control Act 2022
(g)	Gambling Regulatory Authority of Singapore Act 2022”.
