Common Gaming Houses (Singapore Totalisator Board — Exemption) (Amendment) Notification 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Singapore Totalisator Board — Exemption) (Amendment) Notification 2005 and shall come into operation on 4th July 2005.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Common Gaming Houses (Singapore Totalisator Board — Exemption) Notification 2004 (G.N. No. S 240/2004) is amended by inserting, immediately after sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph:

“(3) The exemption under sub-paragraph (1) shall be subject to such conditions as the Minister may, from time to time, specify in writing to the organisations and persons referred to in that sub-paragraph.”.
