(Chapter 107)
Films (Licensing and Classification) (Amendment) Regulations 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 41 of the Films Act, the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Films (Licensing and Classification) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2008.
Deletion and substitution of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Films (Licensing and Classification) Regulations (Rg 3) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

1. Licence for the business of distributing films —
 
 
(a) for distributing films at one or more distribution points (including temporary distribution points)
 
(i) $1,200 for 12 months; or
 
 
(ii) $3,000 for 36 months.
 
 
 
(b) for distributing films, excluding “R21”, “M18” and “NC16” category films, at one or more distribution points (including temporary distribution points)
 
(i) $600 for 12 months; or
 
 
(ii) $1,500 for 36 months.
 
 
 
(c) for distributing films at one or more temporary distribution points only
 
$6 per day or $100 per month for each temporary distribution point.
 
 
 
2. Licence for the business of exhibiting films —
 
 
(a) for exhibiting films, excluding “G” and “PG” category films, at one or more exhibition points
 
(i) $600 for 12 months; or
 
 
(ii) $1,500 for 36 months.
 
 
 
(b) for exhibiting films, excluding “G” and “PG” category films, at one or more temporary exhibition points only
 
$100 per month or part thereof for each temporary exhibition point.”.
