Medical and Elderly Care Endowment
Schemes (Approved Institutions)
(Amendment No. 4) Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) (Amendment No. 4) Notification 2016 and, except for paragraph 2(a), is deemed to have come into operation on 12 August 2016.

(2) Paragraph 2(a) is deemed to have come into operation on 5 January 2016.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) Notification 2016 (G.N. No. S 2/2016) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “(Toa Payoh Branch)” in item 40 and substituting the word “(Bishan)”;

(b)

by deleting item 62 and substituting the following item:

“62.	The Salvation Army, Peacehaven Nursing Home”; and

(c)

by deleting item 103 and substituting the following item:

“103.

The Salvation Army, Peacehaven Bedok Day Centre”.
