It is hereby notified for general information that, in accordance with the definition of “immigration depot” in section 2 of the Immigration Act, the Controller of Immigration has designated the following places to be Immigration Depots for the examination, inspection and detention of persons under the Act, with effect from 1st August 2006:

Tanglin Police Divisional Headquarters, 21 Kampong Java Road, Singapore 228892; and
