Parking Places (Housing and Development Board) (Amendment No. 5) Order 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4 and 9 of the Parking Places Act, the Minister for Communications hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Parking Places (Housing and Development Board) (Amendment No. 5) Order 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st October 1997.

Amendment of Schedule

2.—(1) The following provisions of the Schedule to the Parking Places (Housing and Development Board) Order 1997 (G.N. No. S 274/97) under the heading Parking Places set out in the first column are amended in the manner set out in the second column thereof:

Insert, immediately after paragraph (q), the following paragraphs:

“(r)	The areas off Choa Chu Kang Avenues 3, 4 and 5 and delineated in Plan 46B.

(s)	The area off Choa Chu Kang Crescent and delineated in Plan 46C.”.

(b)

Item (10)

Insert, immediately after paragraph (f), the following paragraph:

“(g)	The areas off Hougang Street 92 and delineated in Plan 68C.”.

(c)

Item (12)

Insert, immediately after paragraph (i), the following paragraph:

“(j)	The area off Jurong West Street 61 and delineated in Plan 76C.”.

(d)

Item (18)

Insert, immediately after paragraph (p), the following paragraph:

“(q)	The areas off Woodlands Drive 52 and Woodlands Avenue 6 and delineated in Plan 101G.”.

(2) Part XI of the Schedule to the Parking Places (Housing and Development Board) Order 1997 is deleted and the following Part substituted therefor:

“Part XI

Parking Charges:

(1)	For a motor car or a motor vehicle the weight of which unladen does not exceed 1,500 kilograms —

45 cents per half hour or part thereof
(Mondays to Fridays: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
(Saturdays: 7 a.m. to 12 noon)

(2)	For a motor vehicle with a seating capacity of more than 11 persons, inclusive of the driver, and the weight of which unladen exceeds 1,500 kilograms —

(a)	90 cents per half hour or part thereof (Mondays to Fridays: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) (Saturdays: 7 a.m. to 12 noon).

(b)	$120 per month (Mondays to Fridays: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following day) (Saturdays: from 2 p.m. onwards) (Sundays and Public Holidays: whole day).

Parking Places:

Jurong East Branch Office Parking Places.

The areas along Teban Gardens Crescent and Pandan Gardens and delineated in Plan 257.
