(Amendment) Regulations 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 39 of the Private Security Industry Act 2007, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Private Security Industry (Security Service Providers) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 1 June 2022.

Deletion of regulation 9A

2. Delete regulation 9A of the Private Security Industry (Security Service Providers) Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 168/2009) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations).

Amendment of regulation 11

3. In regulation 11 of the principal Regulations —

(a)	in paragraph (1)(d), insert “and” at the end;
(b)	in paragraph (1), delete sub‑paragraph (da);
(c)	in paragraph (2)(d), insert “and” at the end; and
(d)	in paragraph (2), delete sub‑paragraph (da).

Amendment of regulation 13

4. In regulation 13 of the principal Regulations, delete “, 9A”.

Amendment of regulation 15

5. In regulation 15(a) of the principal Regulations, delete “9A,”.
