Parking Places Act
(Chapter 214)
Parking Places (Coupon Parking) (Amendment) Rules 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4 and 8 of the Parking Places Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Communications and Information Technology, hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Parking Places (Coupon Parking) (Amendment) Rules 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2000.
Deletion and substitution of rule 5
2.  Rule 5 of the Parking Places (Coupon Parking) Rules (R 3) is deleted and the following rule substituted therefor:
“Signs indicating coupon parking places
5.  The Superintendent may designate any parking place as a coupon parking place by placing or erecting at or near such parking place a sign in accordance with any of the diagrams set out in the First Schedule.”.
Deletion and substitution of First Schedule
3.  The First Schedule to the Parking Places (Coupon Parking) Rules is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
“FIRST SCHEDULE
Rule 5
Coupon Parking Place Signs

Diagram 1

UNKNOWN

UNKNOWN”.
