Co-operative Societies Act
(Amendment of Schedule) Order 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 97B(1) of the Co‑operative Societies Act, the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Co‑operative Societies Act (Amendment of Schedule) Order 2019 and comes into operation on 20 June 2019.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Co‑operative Societies Act is amended —

(a)	by inserting, immediately after the words “qualifications for membership” in item 7, the words “(including the pre‑existing common bond of association or community of interest among the members)”;
(b)	by deleting the words “and officers” in item 13;
(c)	by inserting, immediately after the words “the seal” in item 14, the words “(if any)”;
(d)	by deleting the word “disposal” in item 16 and substituting the word “distribution”; and
(e)	by deleting item 18.
