(Commencement) Notification 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Administration of Muslim Law (Amendment) Act 2005, the Minister for Communications and Information, charged with the responsibility for the portfolio of the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth relating to Muslim affairs, hereby makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification may be cited as the Administration of Muslim Law (Amendment) Act 2005 (Commencement) Notification 2013.

2. Sections 2, 3(a) and (c), 4, 8(a), 9 and 12 of the Administration of Muslim Law (Amendment) Act 2005 shall come into operation on 7th August 2013.
