Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 3) Order 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(9) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 3) Order 1996.

2. The Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) Order is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Sogen Singapore Merchant Bank Ltd.” and substituting the words “Societe Generale Singapore Merchant Bank Ltd.”, with effect from 19th January 1990; and
(b)	by deleting the words “Societe Generale Singapore Merchant Bank Ltd.” and substituting the words “Societe Generale Asia (Singapore) Ltd.”, with effect from 27th August 1996.
