(Countermeasures) (Amendment)
Regulations 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 122 of the Foreign Interference (Countermeasures) Act 2021, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Foreign Interference (Countermeasures) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and come into operation on 14 June 2024.
Amendment of regulation 14
2.  In the Foreign Interference (Countermeasures) Regulations 2023 (G.N. No. S 881/2023), in regulation 14, replace paragraph (1) with —
(1)  For the purposes of section 62(2)(b) —
(a)a donation report relating to a candidate or an election agent of a candidate must be given to the competent authority using the Internet website https://www.eld.gov.sg; and
(b)a donation report relating to any other politically significant person must be given to the competent authority using the Internet website https://eservices2.mha.gov.sg/rds.”.
Amendment of regulation 16
3.  In the Foreign Interference (Countermeasures) Regulations 2023, in regulation 16, replace paragraph (1) with —
(1)  For the purposes of section 76(2)(b) —
(a)a foreign affiliations report relating to a candidate or an election agent of a candidate must be given to the competent authority using the Internet website https://www.eld.gov.sg; and
(b)a foreign affiliations report relating to any other politically significant person must be given to the competent authority using the Internet website https://eservices2.mha.gov.sg/rds.”.
