Protected Areas and Protected Places Act
(Chapter 256)
Protected Places (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 1996
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(1) of the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:
1.  This Order may be cited as the Protected Places (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 1996 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st January 1995.
2.  Item (17) of the Schedule to the Protected Places (Consolidation) Order is amended —
(a)by deleting the words “The General Manager, Singapore National Printers Ltd.” in the first column and substituting the words “The President, SNP Corporation Ltd”;
(b)by deleting the words “SINGAPORE NATIONAL PRINTERS LTD.” and “SINGAPORE” in the heading in the second column and substituting the words “SNP CORPORATION LTD” and “SINGAPORE 408754”, respectively;
(c)by deleting the words “Singapore National Printers Ltd Ubi Plant” in the first and in the second paragraphs in the second column and substituting in each case the words “SNP Corporation Ltd and SNP Security Printing Pte Ltd”; and
(d)by deleting the words “SINGAPORE NATIONAL PRINTERS LTD UBI PLANT” in the third paragraph in the second column and substituting the words “SNP CORPORATION LTD AND SNP SECURITY PRINTING PTE LTD”.
