Estate Agents (Fees)
(Amendment) Regulations 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 72(1) of the Estate Agents Act 2010, the Council for Estate Agencies, with the approval of the Minister for National Development, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Estate Agents (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and come into operation on 1 June 2024.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  In the Estate Agents (Fees) Regulations 2010 (G.N. No. S 641/2010), in the Schedule —
(a)in item 11(a), in the second column, replace “$270” with “$348.80”;
(b)in item 11(b), in the second column, replace “$410” with “$534.10”;
(c)in item 11(c), in the second column, replace “$520” with “$675.80”;
(d)in item 11(d), in the second column, replace “$100” with “$130.80”;
(e)in item 11(e), in the second column, replace “$60” with “$87.20”;
(f)in item 12(a), in the second column, replace “$220” with “$283.40”;
(g)in item 12(b), in the second column, replace “$390” with “$512.30”;
(h)in item 12(c), in the second column, replace “$100” with “$130.80”;
(i)in item 12(d), in the second column, replace “$60” with “$87.20”;
(j)in item 13, in the second column, replace “$50” with “$54.50”; and
(k)in item 14, in the second column, replace “$360” with “$392.40”.
Transitional provisions
3.—(1)  Despite regulation 2(e), item 11(e) of the Schedule to the Estate Agents (Fees) Regulations 2010 as in force immediately before 1 June 2024 continues to apply to an application to appeal against an examination result in respect of a Real Estate Agency examination conducted before that date.
(2)  Despite regulation 2(i), item 12(d) of the Schedule to the Estate Agents (Fees) Regulations 2010 as in force immediately before 1 June 2024 continues to apply to an application to appeal against an examination result in respect of a Real Estate Salesperson examination conducted before that date.
(3)  In this regulation, “Real Estate Agency examination” and “Real Estate Salesperson examination” have the meanings given by regulation 2(1) of the Estate Agents (Licensing and Registration) Regulations 2010 (G.N. No. S 642/2010).
