Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Law) Notification 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Law, with the approval of the President, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Law) Notification 2007 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2007.

Delegation of powers

2. The Minister for Law hereby deputes the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Law, to exercise the powers of the Minister under the following provisions of the Residential Property Act (Cap. 274):

(a)	sections 3 (12), 9(1), (2) and (3) and 22;
(b)	section 25 (except subsections (7B), (7C), (12) and (13));
(c)	section 26;
(d)	section 28 (except subsection (5));
(e)	section 28A (except subsection (5));
(f)	sections 29 (1) and (2) and 30; and
(g)	section 31 (except subsections (11) and (12)).

Amendment of Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Law) (Consolidation) Notification

3. The Schedule to the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Law) (Consolidation) Notification (N 10) is amended —

(a)	by deleting paragraphs (e), (f) and (h) in the second column of item 1; and
(b)	by deleting paragraphs (g) and (o) in the second column of item 2.
