Citation |
1. These Rules may be cited as the Legal Profession (Legal Practice Management Course) Rules 1997. |

2. In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires —

Course content and standard of assessment |
Registration for Course |
4.—(1) Every practitioner who intends to attend the Course shall complete a Notice of Registration in such form as the Council may determine and shall submit the Notice to the Council within such time as the Council may specify.

Certificate of Completion of Course |
5. The Council shall issue or cause to be issued to every practitioner who has successfully completed the Course a Certificate of Completion which shall state that the practitioner has successfully completed the Course. |

6.—(1) Subject to paragraph (2), every practitioner shall successfully complete the Course before he may practise as a solicitor on his own account or in partnership.
