Passports Act
(Chapter 220)
Passports (Authorised Officers) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2006
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(1) of the Passports Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  These Regulations may be cited as the Passports (Authorised Officers) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2006 and shall, with the exception of regulation 4, come into operation on 15th August 2006.
(2)  Regulation 4 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 6th July 2006.
Amendment of regulation 3
2.  Regulation 3 of the Passports (Authorised Officers) Regulations (Rg 2) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting paragraphs (d) and (e) and substituting the following paragraphs:
“(d)Manager, NSRMC;
(e)Management Executive, NSRMC; and
(f)Senior Executive Assistant, NSRMC.”.
Amendment of regulation 4
3.  Regulation 4 (2) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting sub-paragraphs (c) and (d) and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:
“(c)Manager, NSRMC;
(d)Management Executive, NSRMC; and
(e)Senior Executive Assistant, NSRMC.”.
Amendment of Second Schedule
4.  The Second Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting items 1 to 4 and the footnote thereto.
