In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act 1961, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Nanyang Technological University Cultural Activities Club — Exemption) Notification 2022.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts the Nanyang Technological University Cultural Activities Club (Arts from the Heart) (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “AFTH Carnival 2022: Blast From The Past” promotion to be held from 17 June 2022 to 19 June 2022 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the draws to be held as part of the promotion at City Square Mall, 180 Kitchener Road, Singapore 208539 on the following times and dates:

(i)	4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on 18 June 2022;
(ii)	4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on 19 June 2022.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
