Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act (Amendment of First Schedule) (No. 2) Notification 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23 of the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act (Amendment of First Schedule) (No. 2) Notification 2003 and shall come into operation on 16th October 2003.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. Part II of the First Schedule to the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act is amended by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Lucanidae” under “ INSECTA”, the following item:

“

ECHINODERMATA

HOLOTHUROIDEA

ASPIDOCHIROTIDA

Stichopodidae

Isostichopus fuscus

Sea cucumber

Ecuador

”.
