Fees (Visit Pass) Order 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Fees Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Fees (Visit Pass) Order 2008 and shall come into operation on 25th September 2008.

Definitions

2. In this Order —

“Controller” has the same meaning as in section 2 of the Immigration Act (Cap. 133) and regulation 2 of the Immigration Regulations (Cap. 133, Rg 1);

“visit pass” means any pass that may be issued by the Controller under regulation 12 of the Immigration Regulations.

Fees

3. There shall be payable to the Controller the following fees:

(a)	$30 for an application for a visit pass valid for 90 days or more; and
(b)	$30 for an application for the extension of the validity of a visit pass by 90 days or more.

Remission

4. The Controller may, in his discretion, remit wholly or in part any fee payable under paragraph 3.
