Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 4) Order 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(9) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 4) Order 1996.

2. The Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) Order is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Singapore Ltd.” and substituting the words “Morgan Grenfell (Asia) Ltd.”, with effect from 1st October 1996;

(b)

by deleting the words “Deutsche Bank (Asia Pacific) Limited” and substituting the words “Deutsche Morgan Grenfell (Singapore) Ltd.”, with effect from 1st October 1996; and

(c)

by deleting the following words, with effect from 1st November 1996:
