Street Works Act

(Chapter 320A)

Street Works (Private Street Works) (Amendment) Regulations 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 53 of the Street Works Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Communications, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Street Works (Private Street Works) (Amendment) Regulations 1997 and shall come into operation on 28th November 1997.

Amendment of regulation 17

2. Regulation 17(2) of the Street Works (Private Street Works) Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by deleting sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:

“(a)	any box culvert with a width exceeding 5.0 metres;
(b)	any reinforced concrete retaining wall with a height projecting more than 4.0 metres from its base or any bore-pile wall, sheet-pile wall, diaphragm wall, reinforced earth wall or crib wall;”.
