Parking Places Act

Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) (Amendment No. 3) Order 1996
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3 and 9 of the Parking Places Act, the Minister for Communications hereby makes the following Order:
1.  This Order may be cited as the Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) (Amendment No. 3) Order 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st December 1996.
2.  The Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) Order (referred to in this Order as the principal Order) is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph 1, the following paragraph:
Definitions
1A.  In this Order —
“Form” means any Form of a parking coupon set out in the Second Schedule of the Parking Places (Coupon Parking) Rules;

“wholeday parking coupon” means a parking coupon in Form 5, 6, 7 or 8 in the Second Schedule of the Parking Places (Coupon Parking) Rules;
“monthly parking coupon” means a parking coupon in Form 13 or 14 in the Second Schedule of the Parking Places (Coupon Parking) Rules.

3.  Paragraph 3(1) of the principal Order is amended by deleting the words “The charges” and substituting the words “Except where a wholeday or monthly parking coupon is used, the charges”.
4.  The principal Order is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph 3, the following paragraph:
Charges for wholeday and monthly parking coupons
4.  There shall be payable for the parking coupons in the Forms set out in the first column the charges set out opposite thereto in the second column:
