United Nations (Anti-terrorism Measures) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(1) of the United Nations Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the United Nations (Anti-Terrorism Measures) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2002 and shall come into operation on 30th September 2002.
New regulation 12
2.  The United Nations (Anti-Terrorism Measures) Regulations 2001 (G. N. No. S 561/2001) are amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 11, the following regulation:
12.  The Minister or a person designated by the Minister may, if he considers that it is appropriate to do so in the circumstances of the case and is consistent with the intention of the Security Council of the United Nations under Resolutions 1373 and 1390, by notice in writing exempt, subject to such conditions as he may specify —
(a)any person or class of persons; or
(b)any activity or class of activities,
from the operation of any or all provisions of these Regulations.”.
Deletion and substitution of Schedule
3.  The Schedule to the United Nations (Anti-Terrorism Measures) Regulations 2001 is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
