(Chapter 59)

Control of Vectors and Pesticides (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 60(2) of the Control of Vectors and Pesticides Act, the Minister for the Environment hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Control of Vectors and Pesticides (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2000 and shall come into operation on 15th November 2000.

Offences which may be compounded

2. The following offences may be compounded by the Commissioner in accordance with section 53(1) of the Act:

(a)

any offence under the following sections of the Act:

(i)	section 6, 9, 12 or 14(4), each read with section 15;
(ii)	section 16 (1) or (2), 17(1), 18, 20, 21 or 22(3), each read with section 24;
(iii)	section 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 or 30(9), each read with section 35; and
(iv)	section 38 or 48; and

(b)

any offence under the Control of Vectors and Pesticides (Registration, Licensing and Certification) Regulations 2000 (G.N. No. S 366/2000).

Revocation

3. The Control of Vectors and Pesticides (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Rg 1) are revoked.
