Planning (Leases and Disposal of Land) Order 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(3)(a) of the Planning Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Planning (Leases and Disposal of Land) Order 2003 and shall come into operation on 7th November 2003.

Additional leases not regarded as disposal of land

2. Any lease granted on or after 7th November 2003 for a term not exceeding an aggregate of 21 years of —

(a)	any unit in any development described in Part I of the Schedule to the Act; or
(b)	any building or part thereof comprised in a development described in Part II of the Schedule to the Act,

shall be added to the list of leases in section 4(2) of the Act which shall not be regarded as a disposal of land.
