Co-operative Societies Act
(Chapter 62)
Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Rules 1997
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 95 of the Co-operative Societies Act, the Minister for Community Development hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Rules 1997 and shall come into operation on 5th December 1997.
Amendment of rule 5
2.  Rule 5(9) of the Co-operative Societies Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting “$500,000” and substituting “$750,000”.
