Destitute Persons
(Welfare Homes) (Amendment)
Rules 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Destitute Persons Act, the Minister for Social and Family Development makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Destitute Persons (Welfare Homes) (Amendment) Rules 2020 and come into operation on 1 July 2020.
Miscellaneous amendment
2.  The Destitute Persons (Welfare Homes) Rules (R 1) are amended by deleting the word “Director” wherever it appears in the following provisions and substituting in each case the word “Director‑General”:
Rules 3, 7(1), 13(c) and (d), 20(2), (3)(h) and (4), 21(2) and (3), 22(1) and (2), 25, 26(1) and (2), 27, 28, 29, 31, 32(1), 34(2), 35, 36(1), 37, 42, 44(2)(c)(v), 46 and 47(1) and (2) and the rule heading.
