Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Deputy Prime Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for Security and Defence, Prime Minister’s Office) Notification 2004
Responsibility of Deputy Prime Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for Security and Defence, Prime Minister’s Office
It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has directed that Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam shall, with effect from 12th August 2004, be charged with the responsibility for the following matters:
(a)Security Policy Review Committee;
(b)the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Developing Research and Professional Manpower;
(c)co-ordination of issues relating to university education; and
(d)such other duties as may be assigned by the Prime Minister,
and that he shall be designated as Deputy Prime Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for Security and Defence, Prime Minister’s Office.
Citation
2.  This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Deputy Prime Minister and Co-ordinating Minister for Security and Defence, Prime Minister’s Office) Notification 2004.
Cancellation
3.  The Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Co-ordinating Minister for Security and Defence, Prime Minister’s Office) Notification 2003 (G. N. No. S 370/2003) is cancelled.
